Services Held For Mrs. Poole Saturday Here

Services were held Saturday, October 17 at 10 a. m. for Mrs. D. D. Poole, 68, in the First Baptist 
Church of Tallulah. Rev. Stone of the Melbourne Baptist Church officiated. Burial followed in the 
Columbia, La., cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Poole died at her home Thursday of last week and leaves as her survivors, her husband, D. D. Poole; 
four sons, Dan Poole of Houston, Texas, John Poole of the Coast Guard in New Orleans, Roy Poole of Bastrop, 
and Bob Poole of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. O. H. Hessler of St. Louis, and Mrs. J. C. Wallace 
of Monroe; two brothers, one sister, 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
