All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ann Porter - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 9, 1975 Funeral services for Mrs. Norman C. Porter, of Tallulah were held in Augusta, Ga., where she had lived the several few months. Mrs. Porter died Dec. 31 after a short illness. Interment and graveside services by the Rev. M. R. Massey of xxxxx were held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Tex. under direction of Niday Funeral Home. Mrs. Porter, better remembered by residents as Ann, lived in Tallulah 14 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active for many years as Bible teacher for the Women's Missionary Circle No. 1. Survivors include one son, George W. Porter, of Augusta; a sister, Mrs. G. M. Fuller of Tallulah; and three brothers, James David Morgan of Little Rock; Rufus E. Morgan of San Mateo, Calif., and Clifford O. Morgan of Albuquerque, N. M.; and five grandchildren.
