Funeral services for Mrs. Claudia S. Post were held Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah 
with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was at Silver Cross Cemetery.

Mrs. Post died Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Madison Parish Hospital. She was 96.

She was born in Winona and had lived in Tallulah for 70 years. She was a retired school teacher of the 
Madison Parish School System, with 30 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah.

She is survived by one son, Jerome K. "Billy" Post Jr. of Tallulah; two grandchildren; and four 
great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tommy Leoty Sr., Tommy Leoty Jr., Spencer Sevier, Ted Ivey, I. T. Crothers, Keith Post, 
Donald B. Lancaster and Mike Davis.
