All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Harold Rockwell Post - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 16, 1963 Funeral Services For Harold Post Held February 5th Funeral services for Harold Rockwell Post, 95, formerly of Tallulah, who died in a Prattville, Alabama nursing home February 5 after a long illness, was held at 2:30 p. m., Thursday, February 7 at the Tallulah First Baptist Church with the Rev. Oster R. Daniels officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Post, a native of Spencerville, Ohio, had been a resident of Madison Parish where he was a farmer. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Harold Post, Tallulah, John C. Post, Montgomery, Ala., and Frank S. Post, Boston, Mass.; two daughters, Miss Mary A. Post, Washington, D. C., and Mrs. L. M. Kiger, Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were A. L. Harvey, Bud King, Leonard Neumann, J. C. Byram, Clay Crawford and Rupert Harmon.
