All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Mary Post - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 27, 1977 Miss Mary Post, 73, of Montgomery, died January 20 in a Montgomery Hospital following a long illness. She was a retired secretary for the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Washington, D.C., a member of the Baptist Church, and a former resident of Tallulah. Funeral services were held Friday in Montgomery and burial followed Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Survivors include three brothers, John C. Post of Montgomery; Frank Post of Tampa, Fla., and Harold B. Post of Breckinridge, Tex., and one sister, Edith Kiger of Wichita Falls, Tex. Pallbearers were Leonard Neumann, A. L. Harvey, Jerome Keith Post III, Malcolm C. Sevier, Ted Ivey, and Tommy Leoty.
