TALLULAH - Alta H. Priest died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 96.

Mrs. Priest lived in Tallulah for the past 13 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the 
Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Arthur Priest; and a son, Paul Harold Priest.

She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Rabb of Tallulah; four grandchildren, eight 
grandchildren and other relatives, including Elmo Rabb of Tallulah.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of 
Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Forward by Faith program of Tallulah First Baptist Church, 700 
Bayou Drive, Tallulah, La. 71282.
