NELLIE DUNDAS PROPST Popular Resident of Delta, La., Died Suddenly Yesterday Afternoon And Will Be Buried Here The people of this community were shocked last night to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Nellie Dundas Propst, one of the most popular women in the Vicksburg trade territory, who died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at her home in Delta, La. Her husband, Joseph E. Propst, to whom she had been very devoted, died only a few weeks ago, after making a heroic fight to regain his health. She was a very charming woman and loved by all who knew her. Mrs. Propst was a daughter of the late Jas. J. Dundas, who was well known and popular throughout Louisiana and Mississippi, and is survived by two sons, her mother, Mrs. Jas. J. Dundas, a sister, Miss Mary Dundas and three brothers, John, Henry and Earl Barrett, all of Delta. Her funeral will take place this morning at (illegible) o'clock. The services will be conducted by Rev. J. C. Johnes, rector of the Church of the Holy Trinity, and will be held in Fisher's funeral chapel. The Vicksburg Herald. May 5.
