Linda Ellis Pryor - Madison Parish, Louisiana

Mrs. Linda Ellis Pryor, age 82, of Tallulah, LA passed away in the late afternoon on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. She was born February 26, 1943, in Madison Parish, the second daughter of James Wilkes Ellis and Irene Ashley Ellis.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael Ellis. 

She was a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church, worked as a bank teller for many years and enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved all animals; but especially her many Siberian huskies that she lovingly cared for over the years and her cat, Savanah.  Savanah was found in Linda’s attic when her family lived in Yorba Linda, CA.

Linda is survived by her husband of 66 years, Raymond C. Pryor Jr, her son Raymond "Trey" C. Pryor III, daughter-in-law, Marissa Pryor, granddaughter Julia Pryor and numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Annie Lois Wixon of Gulfport, MS and Vickie Ellis Jones of Tallulah, LA. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. 

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home and will be led by Bro. Martin Parker. Burial will follow in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. 

Linda’s family will serve as pallbearers.
