Querrey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 3, 1970 Services today for Mr. Querrey, local planter William H. Querrey, 77, prominent Madison Parish planter, died Tuesday night, December 1, in Vicksburg Hospital following a long illness. Mr. Querrey was a native of Argenta, Ill. and had been a resident of Madison Parish for the past 14 years. He was a member of the E. U. B. Church. Services will be held at 10 a. m. in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IIl. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ellen Querrey; two sons, Charles Querrey, Decatur, Ill. and Bill Querrey of Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. Gwen James of Del Rio, Texas; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Lofy of Decatur, Illinois.
