Funeral services for Leon Rabb, 27, who died at the home of his father, W. D. Rabb, at Talla Bena, last Saturday, were held from the Tallulah Baptist church, of which he was a member, Sunday afternoon. Rev. L. A. Matherne conducted the rites, assisted by the Rev. C. Karlos Smith, of the Methodist church. Interment was in Silver Cross cemetery here. Mr. Rabb, who was a native of Mississippi, had been a resident of Madison parish for the past ten years. He was employed on a government boat near Vicksburg. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maud Gather Rabb, the parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Rabb, three brothers, Lit, Willie and Elmo, and four sisters, Gladys, Lela, Vivian and Mary Elizabeth. Active pallbearers were Robert Brown, R. T. Coleman, Henry Tompkins, W. A. Smith, Lavelle Scott and A. J. Cummings. Honorary pallbearers were Baskin Parks and Wiley Motley.
