Randall - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post February 10, 1947 YOUNG TALLULAH CITIZEN DIES AT LOCAL HOSPITAL Roddis C. Randall Was Well Known Louisiana Merchant TALLULAH, La., Feb. 10 - Roddis C. Randall, 40-year-old Tallulah merchant and prominent young business leader of Madison Parish, died last night,at a hospital in Vicksburg after a brief illness. Mr. Randall operated a mercantile business in Tallulah, and was one of the town's most prominent young citizens. His wife, Mrs. Alpha Ivy Randall, taught in the Tallulah public schools. His mother, Mrs. Mattie Randall, and a brother, .Ernest H. Randall live in Vicksburg. He is survived by, his wife and two children, Roddis Cary Randall Jr., and Mattie Louise Randall; his mother; two sisters; Kathleen Randall of Shreveport and Mrs. R. J. Jenkins of Los Angeles; four brothers, Ernest of Vicksburg; B. L. Randall of Gloster; A. W. Randall ofd Oakland, California and K. K. Randall of Los Angeles. Funeral services will be held at the Tallulah Methodist Church, of which Mr. Randall was a faithful member, on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in the Brookhaven cemetery.
