All rights reserved. ********************************************************************************************************** Charles Brown Ratcliff - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Jackson Clarion-Ledger February 4, 2013 Canton, Mississippi Visitation for Mr. Charles Brown Ratcliff, 83, of Canton, who passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Madison River Oaks Hospital, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, at Breeland Funeral Home, with services to follow at 11 a.m. Charles was born on August 24, 1929, in Tallulah, Louisiana, to John Daniel Ratcliff and Francis Ross Ratcliff. He married Sarah Love Davis of Brandon, MS, in May of 1951. Mr. and Mrs. Ratcliff then moved to Canton, where he purchased Canton Farm Equipment Co. in 1955. Mr. Ratcliff, an Army veteran and avid outdoorsman, is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sarah, three sons, Charles Davis (Sally), Randy (Ann), John Wallace (Jennifer), and daughter, Deborah R. Smith. Grandchildren include Dr. David Ratcliff (Jessica) and Sara Ratcliff, Elizabeth and Molly Ratcliff, Ross and Haley Ratcliff, and Hannah Horton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mississippi Animal Rescue League or French Camp Academy.
