Reardon died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at Olive Branch Nursing Center in Tallulah. He was 72. Mr. Reardon was a native and lifelong resident of Tallulah. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army in Germany. He was a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Reardon; his parents, William Edgar and Ollie Mae Tyson Reardon; and a brother, Ebbie Reardon. He is survived by four daughters, Susan Caldwell, Sandra White, Sharon Sevier and Shelley Frierson, all of Tallulah; three sons, Bill Reardon of Stafford, Texas, David Reardon of Oak Grove and Sam Reardon of Monroe; a brother, Fred H. Reardon of Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Grace Reardon Kline of Valdosta, Ga.; and 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Jean Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Delhi. Pallbearers will be Tommy Ervin, Kenny Smith, Danny White, Buddy Caldwell, Phillip Frierson and Marshall Sevier.
