December 16, 1957 ~ April 24, 2025 67 Years Old

 

Ms. Brenda Ray Taylor Remore, 67, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at her home in Tallulah, Louisiana, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born on December 16, 1957, in Delhi, Louisiana, to Earl "Bud" and Dorothy Taylor. 

Ms. Brenda loved everyone and always greeted you with a smile and open arms. She enjoyed shopping for antiques and spending time with her family. Brenda learned to play the piano by ear at age 6. She enjoyed singing and playing with her sisters and church family over the years. Brenda was a farmer's daughter and wrote a letter to President Reagan about her father. President Reagan quoted her letter in a speech at the Rose Garden on September 18, 1985. Brenda also loved to cook and enjoyed feeding people. She was a beloved member of Parkview Baptist Church.

Ms. Remore is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Dorothy Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, DeAnna Remore Presley (Jamie); granddaughter, Ansleigh Ray Presley; sisters, Lynn Lisonbee, Kathy Farnsworth, and Betty Marsh; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services for Brenda will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah with Bro. Trent Allen officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2025, at Parkview Baptist Church. There will be an additional time for visitation from 9:00 - 10:00 AM, before the funeral service on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Burial will follow the funeral service Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Albert Sparks, Edgar Purvis, Kevin Purvis, Danny Sanders, Brad Lingefelt, and Connie McCarver.
