Revelle - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 16, 1988 Funeral services for Mr. George W. Revelle, 78, were field Sunday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross emetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Revelle died Friday morning at the Vicksburg Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was .a native of Missouri and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 58 years. Mr. Revelle was a retired railroad construction foreman with the Missouri-Pacific railroad, an army veteran of World War II and a member of he First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mable Revelle of Tallulah; three step-daughters, Mrs. Ralph Young and Mrs. Edna Fay Palmby, both of Monroe and Mrs. Maxine Marsalis of Vicksburg; one brother, Mr. Damon Revelle of Tallulah; five sisters, Mrs. Jewel Lowe and Mrs. Marie Bilbo, both of Tallulah, Mrs. Katie Grigsby and Mrs. Irene Owens, both of New Orleans and Mrs. Joyce Hawkins of Greenville, S.C.; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Byron Breard, Ralph Young Jr., Kenneth Hampton, Marvin L. Hampton, Raymond Gilbert, Edward Palmby and Mark Young. The family requests that memorials be made to a favorite charity
