R. Revelle Funeral services were held recently for Robert Raymond Revelle, Sacramento, Calif.; formerly of Vicksburg, were conducted in the First Baptist here with Rev. J. S. Hurt officiating. Burial was held in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Revelle died Monday, August 22 at Laurel, Miss., hospital after a short illness. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Rose Griffin Revelle, one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Compenell, one son L. V. Revelle all of Sacramento, Calif; one step-daughter, Mrs. Cliford Lozona of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; six sisters, Mrs. T. A. Bilbo, and Mrs. J. E. Lowe both of Tallulah; Mrs. Ross Morrison, Sikeston, Mo., Mrs. J. E. Hawkins. Geenville, S. C., Mrs. Burley Grigsly and Mrs. Ireene Owens both of New Orleans; three brothers, Geo. Revelle, Tallulah; Raymond Revelle, Vicksburg, and Glen Revelle, Greenville, S. C. and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lee Gunn, Freddy Helton, James Carver, E. M. Elledge, Muriel Green.
