All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Dannie Gene Rice - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 7, 1994 Funeral services for Mr. Dannie Gene Rice, 50, of Tallulah, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 1994, at the First Baptist Church in Tallulah, with Rev. John Rushing officiating, under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Graveside service were held Monday, Dec. 5, 1994, in Jones Ridge Cemetery at Delaplaine, Ark., at 3 p.m. Mr. Rice died Thursday, Dec. 1, of gunshot wounds suffered while deer hunting south of Tallulah. Mr. Rice was a native of Delaplaine, Ark., and had lived in Tallulah for about 13 years. He was a farm implement dealer; and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church of Attica, Ark. He is survived by two sons, Danny A. Rice of Vicksburg and Jeremy Paul Rice of Tallulah; two daughters, Kimberly Jean Cox of Slidell and Jamie Danielle Rice of Tallulah; two brothers, Jimmy Dale Rice and Thomas Joseph Rice, both of Delaplaine; and one grandson, Brandon Gene Cox of Slidell. Pallbearers were Mike Foster; Todd Kennedy, Buddy Saunter, Chuck Evans, Mark Holloway, and Craig Cox.
