Richardson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 28, 1978 The funeral of Don L. Richardson, 70, of Richmond was held Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ned Stout and Dr. John McCall officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. He died the afternoon of Sept. 20 at his residence after an apparent heart attack. Mr. Richardson was a native of Bienville and a resident of Madison Parish for 34 years. He was a retired area conservationist for the Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service where he was employed for 38 years. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and a graduate of LSU. Mr. Richardson was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah and an alderman for the village of Richmond. He was a member of the Board of Supervisors of Madison Soil and Water Con-servation District. Mr. Richardson was a former president of the Madison Parish Alumni Association for LSU and former president of the Babe Ruth Baseball League. Survivors include his wife, Nell B. Richardson of Richmond; one son, Donald Kinney Richardson of Vicksburg, Miss.; one daughter, Ellen Zenobia Richardson of Columbia, S. C.; one brother, E. S. Richardson Jr. of Lafayette; two sisters. Ruth Richardson of Ruston and Mrs. J. E. Mulhern of Natchez, Miss.; and two grandchildren.
