William Edward Roberson "Eddie" passed away on May 23rd, 2022 at the age of 78. Eddie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was born in Tallulah, La. on December 18th,1943 to Carl and Maxine Roberson. He worked in construction for several years. During this time he helped construct Unit 1 at Grand Gulf. He also worked at Big River Ship Builders. After leaving there he worked at LeTourneau for several years working on their Jack Up Offshore Rigs and made several overseas trips working on these. He worked at Baxter Wilson before moving on to Entergy at Grand Gulf where he worked until retirement in 2003.

Eddie was a deacon at Grace Baptist Church and was also involved with distributing Gideon bibles. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church and also attended Wilderness Baptist Church.

He was also involved with the Mason organization. Eddie was very active in golf and over the years coached little league baseball, two church softball teams and the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 619 softball team. He was especially proud to work with the Area 10 Special Olympics program for several years. He was involved and competed in Ms. Senior Olympics in golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Maxine Roberson, sisters Barbara(Bobby) Lee, Betty(Gilbert), Tonnang and brother Dennis Roberson.
He is survived by his wife Carol of 59 years, sons Ed Roberson(Susan), Neal Roberson(DeeDee), Grandchildren Heather(Jon) Zamora, Stephen Roberson, Morgan(Brooklyn) Roberson and Brittany Roberson, and great grandchildren Ava Elizabeth and Caroline Grace Zamora. He is also survived by many other extended family members and dear friends. 

He will be missed by all

Funeral services will held at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg on Thursday 5/26/22 with visitation from 12-2 with the funeral starting at 2. Burial will follow at Yokena cemetery in Vicksburg.

Pallbearers will be Cody McKeller, Timmy Curtis, Joe Grayson, Stephen Roberson, Morgan Roberson, and Ricky Landrem. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Dew, Ron Pownall, Ronnie McGowan, His golfing buddies, and Jim Brannon's Sunday School Class.
