Rogan Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 25, 2008 TALLULAH -- George W. Rogan Jr. died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center. He was 81. Mr. Rogan was born in Corinth, Miss., and had lived most of his life in Madison Parish. He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a heavy-equipment operator. He was a Baptist and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Tressie Hall Rogan of Tallulah; three sons, Freddy Rogan and Mike Rogan, both of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Mark Rogan of Eulas, Texas; one daughter, Gail Spagnola of Double Oak, Texas; three brothers, Lloyd W. Rogan Sr. and John Rogan, both of Tallulah, and Gerald Rogan of Baton Rouge; one sister, Faye Rogan Lane of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 until the hour of the funeral at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.
