All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Herbert Rogers - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 21, 1991 Funeral services for Mr. Herbert Rogers, 65, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Providence with Rev Rocky Stevens officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Cemetery in Lake Providence. Mr. Rogers died Aug. 14 at North Monroe Hospital. He was born in Arcadia and had been a resident of Tallulah for many years. He was employed by the Louisiana Highway Department. Survivors include his wife, Maude Rogers of Tallulah; one brother, M. G. Rogers of Waterproof and one sister Madalene Parks of Port Neches, Tex. Pallbearers were Johnny Mathews, John Cable, Eugene Whitney, Robert Mathews, Albert Mathews and Eugene Watkins. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Hutto, Ross Murphy, Huey Shoemaker, James Jacobs and John Wilhite.
