Rogers - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 23, 1986 Services for Sidney M. Rogers, 70, were at 4 p.m. Sunday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. William Alexander officiating. Mr. Rogers died Friday in Hazelhurst, Miss., after a long illness. He was a native of Yazoo City, Miss., and a resident of Tallulah for 10 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian faith and was a car sales representative. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Cummins Rogers of Tallulah; one son, Sidney Paul Rogers of St. Thomas, Virgin Island; one daughter, Linda Rogers Johnson of Hazelhurst, Miss.; and two grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Youth Ministry at the First Presbyterian Church in Hazelhurst, Miss.
