All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Sarah Nell Rogers Madison Parish, LA From Madison Journal December 29, 2015 Sarah Nell Rogers, 84, of Hemphill, Texas and former longtime resident of Tallulah, fell asleep in death Tues., Dec. 8, 2015, and is now resting in God, Jehovah’s memory awaiting her resurrection. Private services will be held at a later date. Born Aug. 9, 1931, in Dubach, La., Rogers was a homemaker. Rogers is survived by her husband of 66 years, Johnny W. Rogers, of Hemphill; three daughters, Frances Sue (Richard Dean), of Hemphill; Willie Nell (Danny) Boone, of Delhi, and Becky Diane (William) Gilfoil, of Tallulah; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Services are under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
