All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Agnes Cox Roy - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 4, 1978 Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Cox Roy, 57, of Tallulah were held in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery for Mrs. Roy who died in University Medical Center at Jackson, Miss. after an illness. A native of Cotton Valley, Mrs. Roy resided in Madison Parish for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Lucian M. Roy of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Becky Lynn Jones of Ruston; her mother, Mrs. Lois Gardner of Tallulah; a brother, Arlen Ray Gardner of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Blanche of Newellton and Mrs. Mary Maxine Moore of Houston, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ira Hugh Ervin, Hollis Ervin, Freddie Helton, Virgil Neumann, Ricky Foster, Jeff Thomas, C. L. Keene and Clement Dahlhauser.
