All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Nannie Ethel Roy - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 25, 1983 Nannie Ethel Roy, 94, died in Concordia Parish Hospital in Ferriday after a short illness. Services are at 2 p.m. today in Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. J. P. Xxxxxx officiating. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Roy was a native of Gloster, Miss. and a resident of Ferriday for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include a son, R. B. Roy of Houston; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia James of Knoxville, Tenn., Mrs. Marjorie Horton of Channelview, Texas, Mrs. Billie Box of Ferriday and Mrs. Rita Violet Mooney of Delhi; 24 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
