Rummage - Madison Parish, Louisiana From The Madison Journal, January 21, 1932 C. E. RUMMAGE DIES C. E. Rummage, a resident of Madison parish for a number of years, died at his home here Friday night after a week's illness of pneumonia. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev. W. H. Giles, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Interment was in Silver Cross cemetery here. Surviving Mr. Rummage are his widow Mrs. Alice Rummage, and three young children, Clara Jean, Edward and Carroll. A son, Harry Rummage, of Quimby, and daughter, Mrs. Pearl Smith of Houston, Texan, and several grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. L. C. Johnson of Shawnee, Okla., and a brother, Bob Rummage of Ozark, Ark., also survive. When he first came to Madison parish a good many years ago Mr. Rummage was timber warden for Singer Mfg. Company and lived on their Dunlap plantation.
