All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Opal Faye Russell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, October 9, 2013 TALLULAH — Opal Faye Russell of Tallulah died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at the Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 88. Mrs. Russell was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas, and lived in Madison Parish for more than 30 years. She was a child caregiver and a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Horace Russell of Tallulah; two daughters, Norma Sims of Hope, Ark., and Sue Schreiber of Princeton, Texas; two sisters, Mary Rosson of Big Spring, Texas, and Milcred Ann Roberts of Zanesville, Ohio; and five grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Martin Parker officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
