All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Raymond "Lefty" Russell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Cox Funeral Home, August 30, 2012 Funeral services for Raymond "Lefty" Russell, 74 of Madison, MS formerly of Delhi, LA will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Delhi with Rev. Mickey Bounds officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-3PM Saturday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery. Lefty was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Delhi; was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was a retired Pipeline Welding Inspector. He is preceded in death by his parents R. L. Russell and Edith Wiggins Russell and a sister, Melba Elaine Russell. Surviving him are his wife Evelyn Ragsdale Russell of Madison, MS; two children Terri Standiford and husband John of Baton Rouge, LA and Rusty Russell and wife Kristi and their son Zack of Madison, MS. Pallbearers will be George Antley, Pete Collins, Ronnie Kennedy, Allan Laird, Bobby Post and Bill Worsley. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Paul W. Grandon and members of the Men's Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church-Delhi. Any planned memorials should be made to the First Baptist Church of Delhi.
