Saiewitz - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 21, 1936 MORRIS M. SAIEWITZ Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon for Morris M. Saiewitz who died at 4:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment was in the Jewish Cemetery at Vicksburg. Pallbearers were Messrs. George Webb, Will Holmes, A. J. Sevier, Henry Sevier, Jack Abroms, and Dr. S. J. Franks. Mr. Saiewitz, who was a prominent local citizen, was born in Russia fifty-eight years ago. He married Miss Jennie Bloom in 1902. He has made his home in Tallulah for the past several years. He is survived by two sons, Dr. Sam Saiewitz of New Orleans and Lesser Saiewitz, and a brother, Henry Saiewitz (remainder illegible).
