Savage died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at the Olive Branch Nursing Home in Tallulah. He was 60. Mr. Savage was born in Lucedale, Miss., and had lived and worked in Tallulah most of his life. He had worked construction for many companies and was a plant supervisor at T.L. James Asphalt Co. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. He was peceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Savage, and his father, Alfred Savage Sr. Survivors include his mother, Sidnah Savage of Tallulah; three sons, Larry Savage Jr., William Terrell Savage and Shon Savage, all of Tallulah; a daughter, Jimmie Terri Savage of Tallulah; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Alfred Savage and David Savage, both of Natchitoches, La.; four sisters, Marion King of Delhi, La., Patricia Pierce and Thelma Whitaker, both of Tallulah, and Gloria Mayeux of Vicksburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Mr. Savage will be at 2 today at the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with Rev. Cletus Moak officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Silver Cross Cemetary. Pallbearers will be Tom King, Tim King, Eugene King, Stevie Sykes, Rudy Hernandez, Adam Savage and Bump Lee.
