All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Verna Scott - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 2, 1968 Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Verna Scott Funeral services for Mrs. Verna Scott, 48, who died last Saturday morning in a Vicksburg hospital after a long illness were held Tuesday at 11 a. m. Services were conducted at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Brown officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Home. She was a native of Lucian and has been a resident of Madison Parish for 31 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors, all of Tallulah, including her husband, W. T. Scott, son, Walter T. Scott, Jr., daughters, Mrs. Billy Hudson, Mrs. John D. White, Mrs. ???? Bedgood, and Miss Tommy Elizabeth Scott; Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Cupit, and several grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jim Folk, Mel ????, William Scott, C. ????, John Frank Olvey, and ???? Grimes. Honorary pallbearers were members of the family.
