Scott, Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 18, 1977 Funeral services for Walter T. Scott, Sr. of Tallulah were at 10 a.m. Xxxday in the Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Shields, the Crawford Williams and the Rev. Brown officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Scott died Thursday in the Mercy Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Crowville and a resident of Tallulah for over 50 years. He was a former mechanic and garage owner. He was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ramona Scott of Tallulah; seven daughters, Mrs. Joan Hudgins, Mrs. Helen Ruth White, Mrs. Linda Bedgood, Miss Tommi Scott, Miss Mona Nolan, Miss Sandi Nolan and Mrs. Susan Keyes, all of Tallulah; three sons, Walter Scott Jr. and Ramona Nolan, both of Tallulah, and Johnnie Nolan of West Monroe; and 12 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Trent Willett, Winfred Parker, Ronnie Bedgood, Larry Jones, Bilbo Wilson. William Givens, and Bink Dunn.
