Scott - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post August 2, 1946 FINAL RITES FOR WALTER W. SCOTT lN TALLULAH TODAY TALLULAH, La., Aug. 2—Funeral services for Walter W. Scott, who died here early Thursday morning, will be held from the Baptist church here this afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. Clarence Crow officiating. Interment will be in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Scott has resided in Madison parish for nineteen years. He was employed at the Chicago Mill and Lumber Company plant here. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Deceased leaves his wife, one son, W. T. Scott, both, of Tallulah; four daughters; Miss Helen Scott and Mrs. H. W. Carney of Tallulah, and Mrs. J. W. Maxwell of Holly Ridge, La., and Mrs. James Kokinoss of Monroe, La.; a brother, John D. Scott of Swampers, La; one sister, Mrs. W. A. Dunham of Crowville, La.; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Crothers funeral home of Tallulah is in charge of arrangements.
