John Seldon, for many years a resident of Madison parish, died this week at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jim Powell, of Belzoni, Miss. Prior to his death Mr. Seldon had been in ill health for several years, and had resided with his daughter since leaving Madison parish where for a long time he was engaged in farming at Quebec. Funeral services were held in Tallulah yesterday afternoon at two o'clock. The remains were brought direct from Belzoni to the Silver Cross cemetery, where interment took place.
