All rights reserved. ************************************************ Louise Sevier - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, January 21, 1988 TALLULAH, La. - Mrs. Louise Sevier died Wednesday, Jan. 20,1988, at the Madison Parish Hospital In Tallulah following a brief illness. She was 74. Mrs. Sevier was a native of Crystal Springs and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 50 years. She was a retired secretary with the U.S. Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church In Tallulah. She served as a Sunday School teacher, the chairman of the Altar Guild, and president of Church Women. She was a member of the Town and Country Club, a member of Women Together, and a member of the First Families of Mississippi. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Thompson of Jackson, two nieces and one nephew. Services were held today at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Rayfor McLean officiating. Burial was In the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah In charge. Pallbearers were Glenn Booth, Charles Beene, Louis Buckner, W.W. Zeigler Sr., Raymond Henderson and Harvey Mounger.
