"Jim" Sevier will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tallulah First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Rushing officiating Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery with Crothers Funeral Home in charge. Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Sevier died Wednesday, April 4 1990, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 78. He was a native and lifelong resident of Tallulah and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 100 and Tallulah First Baptist Church. He was a retired Madison Parish tax assessor and a former retail grocery merchant. He is survived by his wife, Juanita C. Sevier of Tallulah; one son, Jim D. Sevier of Tallulah; three sisters, Charlotte Ziegler and Ada Maie Warrick, both of Tallulah, and Laura Donald of Jennings, La.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bill Ziegler, Billy Post, Jim Gilfoil, Johnny Wilkins, George Sumlin Jr., Cliff Adams, Jim Folk and David Donald.
