Sevier - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 28, 1988 Funeral services for Mr. Malcolm C. Sevier Sr. will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Tallulah First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Robert Hyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Sevier died Tuesday in the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe following a lengthy illness. He was a lifelong resident of Tallulah, a farmer, a veteran of World War II and a member of Scott-Nicols-Voak Post No. 100 of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Tallulah First Presbyterian Church, member of the Board of Directors of Southern National Bank and Tallulah Finance Company. He was also a graduate of LSU Law School. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Ann Sevier of Tallulah; one son, Dr. Conrad Sevier of Tallulah; one daughter, Katherine Green of Memphis, Tenn.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sonny Todd, Billy Post, George Bowden, Hamp Hanks, Odo Cagnolatti, Charles Beene Sr., Henry C. Sevier Jr. and Jack Folk. The family requests that memorials be made to the Tallulah First Presbyterian Church.
