William H. "Billy" Sevier, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. William H. "Billy" Sevier, Sr., age 54, of Alsatia, LA will be held at 
10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the Melbourne Baptist Church in Transylvania, LA with 
Rev. Butch Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the 
direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Visitation will be at the church in Transylvnia on Friday, April 26, 2013 beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Mr. Sevier died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX after 
a lengthy illness. He was born in Vicksburg, MS and grew up in Madison Parish. He had lived in 
Sondheimer, LA for 12 years. He was an ag-pilot and a member of Melbourne Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents Andrew Leonard Sevier, Jr. and Martha Snider Sevier and a 
brother Charles Steven Sevier.

Survivors include his wife Laura Fortenberry Sevier of Sondheimer, LA ; one son William Howard Sevier, Jr. 
and wife Madison of Plano, TX; three daughters Katie Sevier Walker and husband Don of Bedford, TX, 
Brittany Sevier of Denton, TX and Chelsea Pritchard and husband Matthew of Manvel, TX; one sister 
Susan Sevier Hunt and husband Roy of Odessa, TX; one brother Andrew Sevier III and wife Elizabeth 
of Texarkana, TX; one granddaughter Riley Katherine Sevier of Bedford, TX; two nieces Sloane Hunt Crume 
of Odessa, TX and Abby Sevier of Texarkana, TX.
