TALLULAH - Mattie Sherrill Shelton died Friday, July 13, 2001, at her home in Tallulah. 
She was 77.

Mrs. Shelton was born in Jacksonville, Fla., and had lived in Tallulah for 55 years. 
She was a co-owner and operator of Shelton's Clothing Store in Tallulah and was a 
member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd D. Shelton of Tallulah; one son and daughter-in-law, 
Frank A. and Sherri Shelton of Tallulah; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherrill and 
Andrew Kelly of Monroe; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. 
John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m., Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
