All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** George Henry Sherman III - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 4, 1994 Services for George Henry Sherman III were at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Wendell Russell officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Sherman died Sunday, May 1, at ParkView Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg. He was 39. He was born in Winnsboro and had lived in Madison Parish for six years. He was an employee of Ergon Refinery of Vicksburg and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah. He is survived by his wife, Cathy H. Sherman of Tallulah; one daughter, Denise Granger of Tallulah; his parents, the Rev and Mrs. George H. Sherman Jr. of Haynesville, La.; three sisters, Jill Calkins of Columbia, S.C., Joy Irwin of Baton Rouge, La., and Shirley Stuart of Edwards; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jamie Harrington, Derek Malone, Tony Jordan, David Pettway, Cecil Lott, Charlie Hutchins, John Carpenter and Jeff Marsh. Honorary pallbearers will be Denis Harris, David Mayfield, employees of Ergon Refinery and emergency staff of ParkView Regional Medical Center.
