ROCHELLE — Robert D. Sherrod, 68, of Rochelle passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 at his residence. A memorial 
service is planned for Friday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in Vienna.
The family will greet friends following the service. Memorial gifts may be made to Shriners Hospitals for 
Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.

A native of Tallulah, LA, Mr. Sherrod was the son of the late Albert Edward Sherrod and Minnie Jane Bradley 
Sherrod. He was a U. S. Army veteran and the former owner of Cotton Picker Rebuilders in Vienna.Mr. Sherrod 
was a 32nd degree mason and a shriner. He was a member of D. H. Reynolds Lodge #563 and the American Legion.

Surviving him are a son, Robert Anthony Sherrod of Hot Springs, AR; two stepchildren, Mark Boutwell of Cordele 
and Ginger Brady of Leesburg; his ex-wife, Judy Sherrod of Leesburg; three sisters, Maycel Eitzen and Jean Sherill, 
both of San Antonio, TX and Billie McDowell of Monroe, LA; three brothers, Edward Sherrod of Oxnard, CA, John 
Sherrod of Chicago, IL and Jerry Sherrod of Little Rock, AR; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joann McBride.
