All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Venie Cason Sherwin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 23, 1983 Services for Mrs. Venie Cason Sherwin, 78, were at 2 p.m. Xxxxday at Trinity Episcopal in Tallulah with the Rev. E. Hightower officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Tallulah. Mrs. Sherwin died Monday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., after an illness. Mrs. Sherwin was a native and lifelong resident of Tallulah. She was a housewife and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Albert Sherwin of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Sue Hightower of Bloomington, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Carolyn C Morris of Tallulah; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
