M. Shows Dies After Being Hurt Falling Off Truck W. M. Shows, 46-year old Madison Parish farmer, died Sunday from injuries which he is said to have suffered when he fell from a truck. His death was reported to have been caused by a fractured skull he sustained when he fell from the rear of a truck to the pavement about a mile east of Tallulah late Saturday. Shows fell, it was said, as the truck swerved, when the driver, S. T. Bedgood, Jr.; temporarily lost control of it in trying to pass a car. Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon at the Williams Funeral home, with Rev. Clarence Crow, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating. Interment was in the Silver Cross cemetery. Deceased is survived by his wife, six children, his father, W. A. Shows, of Pollock, La., and a brother, E. T. Shows, of Tendal.
