All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ William Hite Sistrunk - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, November 29, 1940 SISTRUNK RITES AT TALLULAH TODAY TALLULAH, La., Nov. 29-Funeral services for William Hite Sistrunk, 53, who died at his home at Mounds late Thursday, will be conducted at the Methodist church here this afternoon, at 3:30 o'clock, with the Rev. D. W. Poole officiating. Interment will be in the Silver Cross cemetery. Mr. Sistrunk died after an illness of two years. Though a. native of Mississippi, he had been living in Madison parish for a number of years. He was well known throughout this section of the state. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and four sons.
