All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Joe Skinner - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 3, 1986 Services for Joe Skinner, 57, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Revs. Mack Howard and John Rushing officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Skinner died Thursday at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a short illness. He was a native of Canoe, Ala., and a resident of Tallulah for the past seven years. He was a delivery representative for GRIT Magazine and Madison Journal, and was well known in the community. Survivors include one sister, Annie Lou Veitch of Beaumont, Texas; one cousin, Corrine Jackson of Bay Minette, Ala. Pallbearers were members of the Melbourne Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers were staff and residents of the Delta Haven Nursing Home.
