All rights reserved. ************************************************ Malvern Smallwood Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post December 5, 2001 DELTA - Malvern Smallwood Sr. died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. He was 83. A native of Pawtucket, R.I., Mr. Smallwood served in the Navy Seabees during World War II. He was employed by Boston Navel Shipyards as a metalurgist. He lived in Malden, Mass., for several years before moving to Delta. He is survived by two sons, Malvern Smallwood Jr. of Saugus, Mass., and John Smallwood of Las Vegas; four daughters, Debbie Smallwood and Melanie Smallwood, both of Malden, Diane Smallwood of Melrose, Mass., and Marge Rozinski of Plymouth, Mass.; his brother, Albert Smallwood of Pawtucket; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick McAlister officiating. Burial will be at Natchez National Cemetery.
