All rights reserved. ************************************************ Adeline Smedley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, August 15, 2005 TALLULAH - Adeline Smedley died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 76. Mrs. Smedley was born in Brookhaven. She had worked as a telephone operator for South Central Bell and as a sales clerk. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah. She is survived by a daughter, Ruthie Cooper of Rayville, La.; two brothers, Buford Smith of Mountain Home, Ark., and Charles Smith of Vidalia, La.; one sister, Clarice Welch of Bastrop, La.; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Cletus Moak officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Rayville. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Christopher Cooper, William A. Cooper, Jimmy Lopez, Jerry Brown, Gene Cox and Brad Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. L.P. Neumann Jr., J.D. Cherene, Hal Grades, John Loddo, and the staff and administration of both Olive Branch and Madison Parish Hospital.
