All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Buddy Roy Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 4, 1969 Rites Held For Buddy Roy Smith Buddy Roy Smith, 42, died suddenly Saturday evening at his home in Mound. A native of Bastrop, La., but Mr. Smith had been a resident of Madison Parish most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Mound Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Crothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Herman Savoy officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dink Smith of Mound, one son, Charles Roy Smith of Baton Rouge, four daughters, Mrs. Betty Ross of Baytown, Texas, Wanda Faye Smith, Cathy Annette Smith and Mary Elizabeth Smith of Baton Rouge; One grandson, four sisters, Mrs. T. R. Taylor of Tallulah, Mrs. Polly Robertson of Victoria, Texas, Mrs. Earline Jackson of Tallulah and Mrs. Dorothy Ashley of Mound.
