"Tint" Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 28, 1980 Services for Clarence J. "Tint" Smith, were Tuesday in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Fred Keyes officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Smith died Sunday in Mercy Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was a native of Meadville, Miss., lived in Madison Parish for the past 35 years and was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Smith of Tallulah; two sons, "Skip" Smith and Kenneth J. Smith, both of Tallulah; four daughters, Mrs. Jeddie C. Watson of Monroe, Mrs. Charlie Richardson of Newellton, Mrs. Benny Holloway of Tallulah and Mrs. James Edward Lawson of West Monroe; a brother, Eugene Smith of West Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. C.T. Tarver of Monroe, Mrs. David Phelps of Kilgore, Texas and Mrs. P.D. Prows of Port St. Joe, Fla., and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Carter, Johnny Thames, Curtis Miller, Jessie Laird, Harmon Smith and Jimmy Wilhite.
