Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 11, 1986 Services for Carrie W. Smith, 93, were at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah with the Revs. O. B. Robertson and Ebbie McGee officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of the funeral home. She died Tuesday at Delta Haven Nursing Home in Tallulah after a long illness. Mrs. Smith was a native of Oak Ridge and a resident of Madison Parish for the past 58 years. She was also a homemaker and a member of Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Dink Smith of Mound; three daughters, Lucille Taylor, Polly Novak, both of Tallulah and Dorothy J. Ashley of Mound; one brother, Bob Williams of Newellton; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Carlos Glass, George Glass, Ray Goings, Edward Yerger, Jr., Claude Clark and Dave Walters.
